Rising international star Ashley Goldman has suffered some Microtrauma to her Left Meniscus following her last match against Charlie Christian at an ICC Live Event in Toronto, Canada. The microtrauma was caused due to the impact on her knees following a Tope Con Hilo and a subsequent front Handspring on the outside as well as the concentrated attack on her left knee by Christian.
Goldman went on to wrestle for an additional 5 minutes further aggravating her Meniscus. The athletic trainer and medical staff at the event said that injury would not have been of any major concern if not for Goldman's prior injury to her left knee. However, they said she will be just fine in a matter of days and won't require any surgery or any prolonged therapy but none the less they ordered her a few days bed rest.
We caught up with Goldman in the athletic trainer's office to find out more about her injury and she said "All I heard was a pop when I landed but I didn't feel any pain until I hit the handspring. Then I felt this debilitating pain in my knee but I had a job to do and the fans paid good money to be here so I fought through it and finished the match, Charlie and the fans deserved that much from me."
As for now that is all we have on this story but if any further developments come to light we will be sure to report on them.
