We have just received footage of a brutal backstage attack suffered by Ashley Goldman while attending a Majestic Women’s Wrestling live event in Japan.
The video clearly shows Goldman being attacked in the parking garage by Lilith Fox. Fox, a veteran of the industry, the top Gaijin in MWW, and one of the first two women announced for True-1 Pro’s returning Joshi division, has in the past voiced her frustration about being looked over in favor of younger talent when it comes to being featured prominently on shows and events. She now seems to have chosen to target new incoming talent in order to re-assert her dominance and stake her claim to more opportunities.
The attack seemed to be concentrated on the recently injured left knee of Goldman. Despite this the training staff at MWW have said that Goldman is still healthy enough to compete and was saved by her protective brace. Nonetheless, Goldman was infuriated and took to the office of MWW Head Booker Ayumi Ohata to request a match against Fox at the upcoming live event in Tokyo, Japan this Saturday.
This comes two days after Goldman’s match in Mexico at Reyes De La Lucha versus Dama Verde. Both women have yet to comment in the ordeal but we will be sure to notify you (our readers) if there are any further updates to this story.
