ROX Burnout | Episode 12 | Road To Vengeance Review and Ratings

Dames of Deception (Olivia Goncalves and Valencia Ramos w/ E'lise La'Prez) defeated Kattya and Helena Rose via Pin Fall

An exhilarating women's tag match to open up the show. Goncalves and Kattya started off the match trading the advantage back and forth in a chain wrestling exchange.

Goncalves would make use of her strength to suppress Kattya and deny her any extended offense. At one point Kattya was thrown over the ropes onto the apron, Goncalves distracted the referee while Ramos sent Kattya flying to the arena floor.

Kattya and Rose would manage to pick up the pace of the match in its later moments with tandem dives to the outside. Their offense was reliant on their superior speed and athleticism which momentarily allowed them to overcome the DoD.

The match would come to an end after Kattya was unable to capitalize on a Pele with the tag to Rose on the outside as she was taken out by La'Prez while the referee was being distracted by Ramos. This allowed Goncalves to catch Kattya with a roll-up for the win.

This match was rated ***¾ (3.75 Stars) by the reviewers here at TIC, it truly saw the DoD embrace their namesake as they use their skills of deception to steal a win over Kattya and Rose. This was a fantastic way to further solidify DoD as the biggest heels in the division and endear Kattya and Rose to the crowd in their attempt to topple them.

Max Harlton defeated Silas Green via Pin Fall

The next match would see the 'Voice of the Dreamers' Max Harlton go head to head with Silas Green. In a predictably technical affair considering the competitors involved, the opening stages of this match saw both men jockeying for an advantage but being matched by their opponent at every turn.

Harlton would be the first of the two to take a decisive advantage with a series of chops to Green. Harlton would seemingly get overzealous, however, attempting a hip attack in the corner to a prone Green who dodged and responded with a vicious back suplex.

Green intelligently targeted the arm for the entirety of this match decreasing Harlton's offensive capabilities.

Harlton would retake control of the match with a dropkick to Green who he threw to the outside but this offensive flurry would be very brief before Green once again retook control.

The finish of this match would see Harlton catch Green with a devastating DDT and follow it up with his patented Dreamers Echo for the victory.

This match was rated ***¼ (3.25 Stars) by the reviewers here at TIC, in contrast to the first match the action was far more predictable -- entertaining and well executed, but nonetheless uncreative bordering on mundanity for both of these men.

Everette Constenelli defeated JTD via Forfiet

Constenelli unamused by JTD’s insistence on pandering to the crowd began the match by chastising King of Native Style before being pushed to the ground by JTD himself. The opening stages saw JTD embarrass Constenelli by repeatedly pushing him to the ground.

A clearly frustrated Constenelli would retreat to the outside of the ring and in a fit of rage dismantle the commentary table.

As the action picked up JTD displayed his superior striking ability with various chops and other assorted strikes forcing Constenelli on the defense.

Constenelli would later show his cunning and aggression reversing a running knee with a back body drop and following that up with a vicious big boot.

Constenelli would continue to press a concentrated and measured offense intelligently targeting the arm of JTD to limit his proficient striking much like we saw Green do earlier to Harlton.

Following more back and forth, right as JTD seemed to be taking a significant advantage Ryan Ricci appeared from backstage dragging a battered Native American fan with him in an act meant to offend and provoke JTD and it worked. JTD would give chase to Ricci and in the process would forfeit the match.

This match was rated ***¼ (3.,25 Stars) by the reviewers here at TIC due to its inconclusive finish, on its own, this match was a brilliant and enthralling showcase of both competitors ahead of their marquee matches at the Vengeance PPV, but it's lack of a clean finish detracted from the merits of the match.

After the match, OKAMI would attack Constenelli however this would not end the way he probably intended as Constenelli manage to get the upper hand and deliver a Con-Chair-To to a prone OKAMI on the ground.

Overall Show Rating:

Overall the show was rated ***½ (3.50 Stars) by the reviewers here at TIC, we saw several angles and segments that are being developed further going towards the upcoming Vengeance PPV. The audio and visual quality was consistent, the commentary is rapidly improving and the booking is sensible. Home to three entertaining matches the show is surely worth a watch and we appreciate all the work put into producing shows like this one regularly.
